My Daybook

FOR TODAY~ March 16, 2010

Outside my window...There is a sweet, hanging nest on the tree in front of my kitchen window. I've enjoyed watching it shake as the birds flit in and out :-)

I am thinking...That Rowan has another tooth coming in. I love her toothy smile!

I am thankful for...The freedom to gather and discuss politics, the role of government, and to gather with fellow believers.

From the learning rooms...KIDS: Pilgrims, Reptiles, skip counting by fives! MOM: learning Spanish with my new language program and new sewing skills thanks to sewing forum friends :-)

From the kitchen...I think we are going out to dinner tonight.

I am wearing...khaki pants, salmon sweater with 3/4 length sleeves and pretty little clip.

I am creating...I am planning how to re-do a dress for my daughter, Brenna. I have the fabric washed and now I just need to iron it and cut out the pattern pieces out.

I am going...to the realtor's office tonight to put some offers on homes we are interested in. If any of the offers are accepted then we will go up and look more closely at the house(s) and decide if we really want it. Lots of prayers going up from here!

I am reading...The Sacred and Profane History of the World and Biblical Principles of Government study guide and I may have to start reading L.M. Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables.

I am hoping...That at least one of the homes we offer on will work out...we are especially drawn to one.

I am hearing...my children planning how to catch a fly...they've already caught one and a spider too!

Around the house...School and laundry folding.

One of my favorite things...Learning new things.

A few plans for the rest of the week: Celebrating my hubby's birthday and our 12th anniversary!

Here is a picture thought I am sharing...

Hope you have a lovely anniversary! Have you read Anne before? It is one of my favorite books! I just might have to pull it out and re-read it (again).

MamaHen~Thank you! It amazes me that we are going to be celebrating 12years! And yes, I've read Anne a few times(all the way through to Rilla of Ingleside!). I absolutely love these books and it has been too long since the last time I read them. I find more Anne fans every year :-)

Lots of love,
Sommer

Sommer,

I've been thinking of visiting Anne again. I love those stories.
