My Daybook

FOR TODAY~ March 9, 2010

Outside my window...Quite a lovely, spring-like California day. It is chilly right now, but it ought to be pleasant as the day wears on.

I am thinking...On the class I attended last night and the classes to come...9 more!

I am thankful for...a husband that is willing to take on the evening routine with our 4 children so that I can attend the class above :-)

From the learning rooms...KIDS: Pilgrims, Verbs, First and Second Declension Adjectives(singular~Latin) and fractions! MOM: learning Spanish with my new language program...yippee!

From the kitchen...Corn bread and Chicken(roasted) and beans for hubby's lunches.

I am wearing...A blue 3/4 sleeve shirt, tan pants and a blue/white sweater and the usual socks for winter cold.

I am creating...haven't started anything lately though I have many ideas.

I am going...to Costco later in the day.

I am reading...The Sacred and Profane History of the World and Biblical Principles of Government study guide.

I am hoping...We can go and see some houses this weekend or soon. Let's get this show on the road!

I am hearing...my computer working and my children playing or doing school.

Around the house...cleaning up and laundry probably.

One of my favorite things...Special time with my big girl.

A few plans for the rest of the week: Nothing new.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing...

(me and my very busy girl...always trying to grab something :-)

I love that picture of you and Rowan! And is she wearing a satin ribbbon hairband?! How adorable is that?! :)

Spanish sounds like such fun! I learned some in high school but have forgotten most of it. . .I really need to pick up on it again. What program are you using? God bless!

Hi Sarah!

This is one of my favorite pictures of us as well :-) She is sweet! And yes that is a little satin ribbon. I love putting them on her...and she generally leaves them alone :-)

I love Spanish. I took two years in high school, but I too have lost most of it. I decided to try Transparent Language for Spanish. My hubby has it for Latin(I'm doing Latin for my daughter with something else) and I thought it would work well for me. Just got it yesterday and look forward to starting tonight :-)

Did you get my email by chance? I hope it went through!

Lots of love,
Sommer
