My Daybook

Peggy, over at The Simple Woman is sharing her Daybook and has invited folks to join in. So, I decided I couldn’t pass up the fun:-) Won’t you join us? Just pop on over to Peggy’s blog for the details!

For June 16th

Outside My Window…
There is a touch of coolness to the air and it feels so very refreshing.

I am thinking…
About school products that still need buying and the tentative schedule for next year.

I am thankful for…
The lack of headache this moring .

From the kitchen…
Yummy meatloaf and maybe some biscuits to go with!

I am creating…
My intentions are good….but nothing much is getting done…still!

I am going…
To Costco, maybe Safeway or Foodmaxx, the computer store, and the thrift store.

I am wearing…
Warm, pink and cream pj pants and a tank top. I will run off to get dressed here very soon:-)

I am reading…
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
And
Home-Making by J.R. Miller

I am hoping…
That my headache will stay at bay and that my tummy will feel better.

I am hearing…
My honey playing piano.

Around the house…
A lot of household duties, running of errands and just plain home body stuff.

One of my favorite things…
My son’s laugh and smile.

A few plans for the rest of the week:
I hope to find some clothes for my girls and dear little man at the thrift store(they are all growing so much!). Perhaps too I can find time to sew and knit…it could happen. Except for some groceries today, I hope to be home most of this week!

Here is a picture thought I am sharing…

Dear Liam enjoying the feeling of cool stones on his warm legs...isn't he just a doll?!

Dear Sommer,

I've finally finished my meme. Please forgive my tardiness!

My, we must be kindred spirits! I've meatloaf cooling for dinner tonight. Costco is on my list for tomorrow. And I'm reading the Homemaking book by J. R. Miller as well.

Blessings to your day and I hope your headache and tummy are better!

The picture of your son reminds me of my son. When we had our heat wave a couple of weeks ago, my son could be found sitting on the stone tiles in the entry way. I would tell people that mamma isn't raising a fool.
