Welcoming the New Year...

"The new year on which we are about to enter is unopened, and we know not what shall befall us; but if we follow Christ we need have no fear. So let us leave the old year with gratitude to God for its mercies, with penitence for its failures and sins, and let us enter the new with earnest resolve in Christ's name to make it the best and most beautiful year we have ever lived."

~Pastor J.R. Miller

This quote really sums up how I feel about the last year and approaching the new year. I want to live like this this year..I want to live to glorify God in all that I do and make it the "best and most beautiful year". May He give me the strength and perseverance to live as unto Him. May I live in such a way that none will doubt the One I follow!

Happy New Year my dear friends!

Blessings,
Sommer

P.S. I hope to later this week(assuming my naughty computer cooperates) share some pics from our Christmas crafting and fun. See you soon!

What a beautiful and truly humbling quote. I need to depend more our all-knowing, loving and gracious Lord intstead of worrying over past things or things yet unknown. Thank you for sharing this!

May you have a wonderful new year, dear Sommer!
