"I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies."
Psalm 18:1-3

Thank you for this, Sommer... a lovely picture as well.
Sommer,
My pastor just preached from this a few weeks ago. Afterwards, he asked us all to go home and write out our own psalms to God, telling God why we love Him.
I have not written mine down on paper yet, but I have so enjoyed thinking about it. I really hopw to put it on paper the next day or so.
Also, my pastor will ask here and there during a service, if anyone is ready to read their psalms and I must say, I have really enjoyed hearing from the others.
Thank you for writing about this.
Pat
