"WHY do modern day baby things lack the picturesque prettiness of bygone times?" Happy Sewing to you! ;)

Blessings,
Miss JenMrs. Ehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07167732479027498107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-497594825129839828.post-1898146367411283702009-01-13T13:58:00.000-08:002009-01-13T13:58:00.000-08:00Thank you so much for the link to the tutorial. I ...Thank you so much for the link to the tutorial. I had somehow missed that!

I'm going in this Friday morning - I've been counting the days, alternately excited and anxious. :) I'm scared I'll die or the baby will die even though I *shouldn't* think that so I will be glad once he is out and bundled and given to me. I can't wait to nurse a baby again! :)Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06713535191616985475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-497594825129839828.post-18730895899270165302009-01-13T13:31:00.000-08:002009-01-13T13:31:00.000-08:00The patterns are just too adorable. WHY do modern day baby things lack the picturesque prettiness of bygone times?

I don't know of any good ideas to wash the older gowns, unless you try hand washing them and lying them flat to dry. That is the only way I know how to safely launder older textiles that are still stable.

Do you use a pattern for your burp cloths or do you just make them up yourself? I need to make a new set or two myself. My other two babies were not bad spitter-uppers but I want to be prepared, just in case, and all my old ones are yellowy from prior use!Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06713535191616985475noreply@blogger.com
